Pastel vibes #Mallorca 2016
Mallorca, considered the most beautiful island of the Mediterranean basin, is the largest of the Balearic Islands, called the Spanish “Island of Peace”. These breathtaking views of the sea at the north-west, fantastic mountains and cliffs, picturesque villages and town surrounded by olive groves, by citrus trees and vineyards in the central plain and the sandy coast on the south and east… The sea is always warm and the weather is always sunny here… It’s impossible not to love this island.
In my memories Mallorca shall always be a beautiful pastel place. I love pastel colors as they put me in the state of harmony. And good mood is everywhere here. Mallorca has everything- crystal clear water of the Mediterranean, the colors of turquoise, white, powder-pink and cream, pastel-orange ground, light beige beaches, green palms and cacti, picturesque Spanish flora, amazing flowers in all colors of the rainbow, impeccably blue sky and emerald mountains…. Colors of Mallorca seem to be from a dream….they sparkle in the sunbeams and give joy and solace.
The warm Mediterranean sea with the most amazing shade of blue I have ever seen, gave me much energy and positive impressions. Walks on the beach, swimming, every contact with that water shall remain in my memory long.
PLAYA de PALMA-
A very busy town where we lived. The main advantages of that city were the sandy beaches and coastal line 5-kilometers wide. Along the beach there is a promenade with cafes, restaurants, clubs and shops with souvenirs….here fun is everlasting. Beach bars and clubs are open 24/7. The overwhelming white color of the walls dimmed with subtle pastel colors perfectly harmonizes with the blue sky and azure sea.
My favorite place is “Bonito”- a real kingdom of pastel colors ;)
Wonderful sunset at Playa de Palma beach and origami boats made by Nikola and Tomek.
COLONIA de SANT JORDI-
-once a fishing village located at the south-east part of Mallorca, it is a small charming village with a rustic atmosphere. While walking down the narrow streets we became enchanted by the pastel houses with wooden shutters painted white, pink and blue. By each house there were some exotic plants of various types and shapes. That place was just from a fairy tale.
Our holidays were so fantastic also because we spent them together with my brother Tomek ;)
Amazing Flamingos in Marineland.
I feel really grateful for the time spent in Mallorca. On these holidays our dreams came true. We spent fantastic time, full of positive impressions. We are certain we will come back to the island to discover new treasures, visit new places we have not visited yet. It has been only a few days since we came back and I already miss the azure waters, the palms, sunny days and pastel colors of Mallorca.
