Follow The White Rabbit – #Old Skool Festival 2016

Can we find ourselves in the Wonderland as Alice and go through the looking glass?

A two-day Festival “Follow The White Rabbit” surpassed our expectations…It was there where we went through the looking glass, just like Alice from the Wonderland. The Bed Room Club in the city of Łódz was for two nights transformed into a fantastic place, resounding with old-skool hardcore and drum &bass music performed by the legendary stars. Amazing decorations referring to the “Alice in Wonderland”, the best dancers from “Incognito Girls” and wonderful people who took part in the festival- these all will stay in our minds forever.

This year OldSkool Festival that took place in Łódź was the second edition of this spectacular event. Marcin Kret from Tornado Records organized the festival the shall be remembered as the best event of the OldSkool Stage in Poland. The last edition (see our last-year report Old Skool Festival 2015) was fantastic, and this year was even better. These were 2 days of unforgettable music and visual impressions. It was awesome to hear live such performers as: FreeStylers, N-Joi, Rachel Wallace, Fat Controller, Mc Fusion, Rozalla, Ragga Twins, General Lewy and many other artists from UK and Poland. That show was amazing also owing to the Incognito Girls who always do their best at the stage. We couldn’t get enough of their view- fantastic clothes and accessories provided by ILA.MAK company. As always at OldSkool parties the atmosphere was positive and magical. Peoples’ faces were joyful and merry; many ravers wore incredible costumes and accessories that created a surrealistic and surpassing climate.

The Festival took place on Friday and Saturday, so we spent the whole weekend in Łódź. In the daytime our favorite place was OFF Piotrkowska Center. In the old cotton factory of Franciszek Ramisch there are now fashion designers’ studios, restaurants, clubs, exhibition areas, showrooms, concept stores and cafes. Each place has unique charm and character.

Old Skool Festival is a feast of Old Skool music lovers. We are so happy we could be a part of that exceptional event. We will for sure take part in the next edition to be in the Wonderland once again ;)

We wish to thank Julia Karczewska (Lucky9Studio) and Tomasz Zawadzki (Tomasz Zawadzki Fotografia) for marvelous pictures. Without them our post would not exist.

You must see the post: Old Skool Festival 2015 ;)

We also strongly recommend you to watch a fantastic documentary of the Festival made by our friend Łukasz Bukowiecki, including interviews with the artists: Old Skool Festival 2016.
